Accountant I (Job Number:11244)

Summary:
Under close supervision, this position is responsible for maintaining records to provide accurate information to management.
Accountabilities:
1. Consolidation and analysis of accounting data, to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices.
2. Prepares financial information, which include monthly balance sheets, cost reports, income statements and reports.
3. Assists in maintaining accounting table, which includes; chart of accounts, lines of business, etc.
4. Assists in general ledger reconciliation’s.
5. Assists in the analysis of accounting results.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 2 years of related experience OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
