Treasury Analyst Sr (Job Number:8243)
Description
Summary:
This position performs complex cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, and other adhoc financial analysis and development of management reporting for the Treasury Operations department. This position stays current with cash flow trends to advise management of potential impact on cash flow forecast. The position is able to work on multiples priorities, deadlines, and has the ability to adapt quickly to change.
Accountabilities:
1. Performs and accurately analyzes the cash management process including the maintenance of proper account balances, reviews all cash management transactions to determine company's cash position, and provides daily cash position recommendation to management within a timely manner to avoid overdrafts or delayed transactions.
2. Develops timely and accurate cash recommendations, cash flow models with the ability to explain key assumptions utilized.
3. Analyzes and researches key drivers of cash management, bank fees and cash flow forecasting and other requested financial data. Draws conclusions and presents recommendations on finding.
4. Develops concise management reporting including detailed variance analysis of cash items, bank fees, and other treasury operations reporting needs against actuals, forecasts, or other benchmarks as needed.
5. Identify process improvement, cost reductions, and ways to minimize risks to cash and treasury operations.
6. Ability to navigate through various systems and departments to obtain accurate information to be utilized in the cash management, cash flow forecasting, risk management and other adhoc analysis/projects.
7. Assist in providing support for risk management of insurance renewals.
8. Assist in other adhoc analysis as projected.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience or 9 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated expertise in making high impact decisions.
- Focused individual with a keen attention to details.
- Skills/Abilities: Self-starter, strong communication skills, excellent organization skills, MS office applications experience, excellent analytical skills, strong problem resolution skills, and ability to adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA CPA
- Additional accreditation of CTP or CFA
